He was a fine dramatic actor. Then one day this odd, quaintly dressed, capped individual began appearing on "Hee-Haw," with rural wisdom for yahoos. He was hysterical. Don Harron, the multi-talented actor, here renews his famous Charlie Farquharson character, telling us all about Canadian history, in his case, very zany indeed. He discusses Indians, prehistoric man, voyagers, wolves, Kyser rolls, the Great Depression, and rebels. Couched in barely readable English, but extremely funny, here is a zany remembrance of days past, Canadian style.
